County Prosecutor Ronnie Earle keeps the heat on in Texas:
DeLay associates appear in court for election investigation
Ellis, Robold are booked on charges relating to Texas campaign finance laws, then released
Jim Ellis, indicted on one first-degree felony charge of money laundering, and Warren Robold, indicted on 18 third-degree felony counts of making or accepting illegal corporate donations, were released on bail after their lawyers appeared before state District Judge Bob Perkins. Ellis was released on $20,000 bail, and Robold was released on bail of $90,000.
Who'll be the first to turn on Tom?

DeLay helped create the political committee and served as chairman of its advisory committee but has denied playing a day-to-day role in its operations.
Ellis, who directs DeLay's national political action committee, was a paid consultant to Texans for a Republican Majority and one of its founders. Colyandro, another co-founder, served as the Texas committee's executive director. Robold, who already was raising corporate money for DeLay's Americans for a Republican Majority and his charities, was hired to raise corporate money for the Texas committee.
Here's a question: Who will likely replace Delay if House Republicans finally decide he's too hot to leave in charge?
